Wow...
this guy took me a while..
I really wanted to create a
wise and kind fellow who would
bring peace and warmth to any place
he lives in.
So he truly is a Christmas spirit!
Welcome to this world, Barnaby...
Barnaby is a big bear, 30 cm tall (about 12"),
made of Steiff-Shulte GORGEOUS
caramel mohair.
He is stuffed with polyfill and glass granules.
He is quite heavy
but still has some space left in his tummy :)
Barnaby has needle felted nose, mouth, eyelids and paws.
His face is needle and scissors sculpted.
Barnaby also has a little tail!
I used acrylic to paint some details:
nose, eyes, mouth and paws.
Some of them are also pastel toned.
Barnaby wears a woolen knitted cardigan
with real vintage glass buttons,
tiny knitted gloves and a knitted hat with a big pearl bead :)
