Mr Henry Bennet

I've been working on this gentleman for a while...

But now I am absolutely sure he's ready for you to see him :)

Mr Bennet is a 16" (41 cm) tall including his ears

and is made of Shulte curly viscose.

He's got ears and paws made of antique plush (the other side of it)

 He's stuffed with polyfill, wood shaves and mineral granules

***

His glass eyes are hand painted by me and

have an uneven orange color

***

 Mr Bennet's face and body are toned and scissors sculpted

***

He's got a jacket hand sewn by me from 100%

wool fabric. The jacket is cotton-lined.

I also toned it a little bit to make it look old

***

His nose and mouth are embroidered and toned black.

 ***

 Since he reminded me of Alice in wonderland

 (wasn't inspired by any characters though)

I made him a pin with 4 card suits :)

 Mr Bennet is wearing a vintage-looking lace ribbon, 

just like any English gentleman should ;)

New gorgeous friend from Germany

I'm back to Moscow finally!

It's freezing cold and I already miss my sunny Beirut

(it's +33 there now by the way)

But I've got great news - my 1st Steiff bear 

has arrived from Germany!

He's a limited edition replica of a 1960 bear

and is absolutely charming!

I named him Frederick :)

Frederick is now the biggest bear in my collection (43cm).

Such a treasure this great fellow!

Mr. Fitzgerald the tiger!

This post was supposed to be just for Mr. Fitzgerald

but in the end he had to share it :)

I've never made a teddy specially for someone before,

and this 1st time it had to be a person that's not even born yet :)

Yes, it's my 1st "new born" teddy for a tiny lady

we are all expecting to meet very very soon! (not mine haha!)
